Our Western Mass Sukkahfest represents the joint efforts of more than a dozen local Jewish organizations to create a lively, exciting and inspiring community celebration TOGETHER!
We welcome Jews and non-Jews, of all denominations, from all communities, to participate in our celebration of Sukkot! The Western Mass region has a long and rich history of vibrant Jewish life of every denomination, and supports numerous synagogues, elder care services, Jewish day schools, social service agencies, philanthropic organizations, and the Jewish Community Center. Many of our institutions are over 100 years old (see our sponsors page). Our diverse community will gather for two days during the holiday of Sukkot at the JCC fields in our temporary village of sukkahs. There, we will welcome guests and visitors as we celebrate the Jewish harvest and the beautiful New England harvest. Community-wide free events include live music, arts and crafts, dancing, yoga, storytelling and an opportunity to dwell in our sukkahs. Gourmet kosher food will be available for purchase. All are welcome, rain or shine! |
